Six months after the passing of her husband, Riky Rick, Bianca Naidoo opens up about how she has been able to survive.
The rapper committed suicide at the recording studio in February 2022, and the news of his death surprised, horrified, and broke the hearts of many.
The deceased’s wife recently revealed how she’s been coping and how the kids have been a source of support for her while the family and friends he left behind struggle to recover.
Maik, an eight-year-old boy that Bianca had with the rapper, and Jordan, a daughter from a prior relationship, are both Bianca’s children.
It’s easier some days than others. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful support system around me, and the children also give me a lot of courage. I permit myself to be not okay on the days when I’m not feeling well, she remarked.
“I talk a lot with children and listen a lot, so I was quite open about what happened to dad from the beginning, from day one. Now that they feel at ease expressing themselves, they each think through things in their own manner. They are aware that they may come and ask questions and discuss issues if they do, and I believe both of them are present. It basically comes down to me being honest,” she said.
Riky Rick was a devoted father who was well-liked by many.
