Makhadzi accused of stealing a song
Makhadzi has been accused of stealing her unreleased song Tshintsha Magiya from a Malawi singer named Scrafoc.
The Malawian artist released his song titled Ma Gear last year, the video premiered on YouTube in June 2021.
The unreleased song which was teased by the award-winning star has made waves across different African countries before its’ official release.
Speaking of the release date, Makhadzi wrote, “24 June is khadzinators holiday. We are changing the gears. Are you ready to stream.”
Fans of the South African singer rose in defense of their idol as many claimed Scrafoc was seeking attention with the claims.
It was also revealed that the song is an old chant in South Africa, hence, the singer didn’t steal any song.
